Your motherboard has a special pullover on it that detects whether the case be opened or not. Snoop around BIOS (usually F1 F10 or DEL as soon as you start your computer) for a setting to disable this. It will be imperfect very clearly. You might own to dig.
Sounds resembling you have an anti-tamper switch installed. Take it support or jump it out.
I would nickname whoever fixed it. They should have closed the cover properly and should be still responsible. At tiniest they can tell you how to solve the problem over the phone step by step.

Good Luck
It's not exactly a driver problem. It is a preventive to let you know that someone have taken the cover off the computer. Dell computers speak that all the time when the cover have been taken sour. No big deal if the computer is working fine..

In your defence I just ponder that the person that fixed it lately didn't do something right with other settings on your computer... surrounded by which should have zilch to do with the cover human being taken off. Sounds approaching a software issue.
If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem near device drivers, hardware or software.
