When I use the shift buuton on my the ivories it displays the wrong part?

1. Click Start and next Control Panel

2. In Control Panel, if you are in Category View, click on Switch to Classic View (Or in recent times click on Date, Time, Language..)

3. Open Regional and Language Options.

4. Click on the Languages tab.

5. Under Text services and input languages, click on the Details button.

6. Under Installed services, click Add.

7. In the Add Input Language dialog box, choose the input words and keyboard layout or Input Method Editor (IME) you want to include.

8. Click OK twice. You should now see a speech indicator in the System Tray (located at bottom right appendage corner of the desktop by default). You can switch between different input methods by pressing the Alt + Shift keys
Go to your local computer store and check the keyboards, and see which push button does what. On an American keyboard, Shift 2=@.
Click on Start (bottom not here of your desktop) and click on Control Panel, and then double-click on Regional and Language Options.

In Regional Options tab select English (United Kingdom) and coppers Location to United Kingdom.

In Languages tab, click on 'Details'. Change 'Default input language' to English (United Kingdom) - United Kingdom. (Don't ask me why it says United Kingdom twice.) Make sure that contained by 'Installed services' that English (United Kingdom) is selected for your grand piano.

In Advanced tab, ensure that English (United Kingdom) is selected as the "poetry to match the style version of non-Unicode programs you want to use"
