Whats the difference between a Ata Hard drive, an Sata and a eipg?firm drive?

im not sure which one to acquire for my new computer im building, is any one different or better than the others

Whats the difference between a Ata Hard drive, an Sata and a eipg?firm drive?

ATA = used IDE 40 pin interface max speed 133MB/s

SATA = uses serial ATA ,5 front interface. max speed 150/300 MB/s

EIPG = this doesnt exist
PATA :paralell and max speed 133m/s , 40or 60or80

SATA :serial and speed 150&300&600 m/s , 7 pin

Sata : not master and slave

PATA(ide):must recognized master and slave

Sata enormously best technology
