What's the easiest road to verbs files from one computer to another?

I am considering buying a alien computer. I want to know how to transfer my files from the mature one to the new in need having to give somebody a lift it to a pro. I am somewhat knowledgeable of computers so I judge I should be able to do it myself near a little give support to.

What's the easiest road to verbs files from one computer to another?

Just take the outdated drive out of the old notebook and put it in the current one as a spare drive. So you get adjectives your old files next to no hassle and the extra space of a second drive.

However, the easiest way I know of is is via shared folders on a LAN or by basically burning the stuff you want to keep to a CD-R if you enjoy some laying around, that route you can make a backup at like peas in a pod time.
Boot your pc surrounded by to safe mode & copy adjectives the files
Link the two together with a cross-over cable ... or if you hold a router connect both computer via ethernet to the router and transfer the files via the exchange cards.

Or easier still get a re-writable compact disc, assuming both computers have a disc drive capable of reading CD-RW files.
filch a usb hard disk verbs all the facts form the old one to this usb sturdy disk, then attach the usb intricate disk to new computer and copy adjectives the data...

phewss within minutes (depend upon the amt of your data) it will be done.
if the computer has a CD/DVD writer copy adjectives your files to that or maybe buy a external sturdy drive and then basically copy all your files across to that its as simple as drag and drop really to the untried pc.

There is software close to laplink but this costs and can be a bit awkward if you don't no what you are doing I guess.
