It's a Logitech. I don't enjoy the box anymore, nor any other instructions with it. I hold gone through the microphone test within the sounds and audio devices in the control panel. I own set the Play and Record Control volumes, unmuted the microphone settings in both, even tried muting one consequently the other. I've even done the microphone set ups in the chat programs I use. Yes, I did set the volume up for the microphone surrounded by the voice tab in sounds and audio devices. But this article still stops working after a few days until a reinstall takes place, or it in recent times starts working again for some reason. What's wrong next to it?

Go to the manufacturers website or you can also budge to the microsoft website and check for any up to date drivers then download those drivers if it is not plug n play
if it is plug n play next i suggest you go to the microsoft website or factory owner website for your sound card and download any up to date drivers or service pack..;)
I suspect it's broken.
Bin it and get a spanking new one.
