What's wrong next to Dell accessory video card (ATI X1300)?

I just this minute bought a new computer and found out that the video card did not work; the blind remained black and it wouldn't go to the Windows blind. So I asked Dell for a replacement, thinking that it was only just a busted video card (ATI X1300 128MB). So they sent a new one and it be the same problem again. What could be wrong? Is the video card not compatible beside the computer? Would downloading a new driver fix the problem? (I tried downloading a hot driver for the first computer but it crashed half-way through.) Currently, I have taken out the ATI X1300 and am using the onboard NVIDIA video card which works. Any assist would be appreciated, especially if you're a computer technician.

Oh I am so nice to you aren't I. You need to progress into the CMOS settings (hit DEL or whatever it say when your computer boots up) and make sure you set it so it starts the AGP card first in the past the onboard video. You might just stipulation to disable onboard video, then you will go and get video on the X1300. Fool around in nearby ans see what turns up.
